About the role

  • Underwriting a large client portfolio of profitable Workers Compensation business
  • Working with teams in retaining and implementing account plans
  • Assessing the risk, manage pricing, and underwrite the opportunities
  • Providing a referral point assisting other underwriters

About you

  • Proven track record in underwriting long tail business either workers compensation or liability
  • Knowledge and experience in Workers Compensation Underwriting
  • A strong analytical capability coupled with excellent verbal and written communication is essential
  • A commercial awareness with demonstrated business acumen
  • You will be a team player with the ability to build and maintain relationships
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications will be highly regarded but not essential
