About The Opportunity

As an Electrician at Kareeya Power Station, you'll play a key role in maintaining and improving plant operations. Your responsibilities include routine and breakdown maintenance, fault finding, inspections, and modifications across electrical, mechanical, instrumentation, and control systems. This is a permanent, site-based role requiring hands-on technical expertise and a strong safety mindset. You'll work closely with multidisciplinary teams and may occasionally travel to other CleanCo sites, including Brisbane.

About You

  • You are a trade-certified electrician with a Queensland Electrical Workers licence or equivalent, with strengths in solving complex challenges in heavy industry. You are curious and eager to learn.
  • Additional qualifications in instrumentation & controls, electrical equipment hazardous areas, high voltage isolation & access, or a high-risk work licence are beneficial but training can be provided.
  • You are naturally collaborative, supporting other teams and building strong relationships internally and externally.
  • You possess a growth mindset, seeking opportunities for process and system improvements.
  • You are passionate about contributing to low emission, renewable, reliable, and affordable energy for Queensland.
