We are seeking a dedicated and passionate educator to join our team as a secondary teacher.
About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity for an experienced teacher to make a positive impact on the lives of our students. As a secondary teacher, you will be responsible for creating a supportive and inclusive learning environment that fosters academic excellence and personal growth.
You will teach a range of subjects, including Religious Education and other curriculum areas, and work collaboratively with colleagues to develop and implement effective teaching programs.
Key Responsibilities- Create a learner-centred classroom environment that is supportive, cooperative, and aligned with relevant curriculum policies.
- Support the Catholic ethos of the school and contribute to the broader school community.
- Teach Religious Education or other subject areas as required.
- Develop and implement quality curriculum programs and appropriate pedagogy; evaluate their effectiveness; assess and report student progress and learning outcomes.
- Relevant contemporary skills and experience in creating a supportive, learner-focused classroom aligned with the Australian Curriculum.
- Expertise in designing and delivering effective curriculum programs in line with the Australian Professional Standards for Teachers.
- A commitment to engage with colleagues, students, and parents/carers to enrich learning experiences and achieve the best educational outcomes for students.
- Eligibility to work in Australia for the duration of the appointment.
- Current registration with Queensland College of Teachers.
