Job Description

At Jetstar, we're all about creating low fares and enabling more people to fly to more places, more often. We're currently seeking a Senior Payments Analyst to join our high-performing Digital team—someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about leveraging data and insight to drive value across the end-to-end payments cycle.

As a Senior Payments Analyst, you'll play a critical role in identifying and assessing new payment opportunities and delivering insightful reporting that underpins key commercial and strategic decisions. You will help shape our payment landscape to ensure we remain innovative, compliant, cost-effective, and customer-centric.

What You'll Be Doing

• Monitor and analyse payment method performance across Jetstar Group carriers
• Lead cost of sale modelling and support payment strategy development
• Evaluate new payment technologies and support vendor negotiations
• Identify and prioritise initiatives across the Payments landscape
• Collaborate across Finance, Fraud, Digital, and Customer teams to drive improvements
• Deliver data-driven insights and reports that support strategic initiatives
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and industry standards
• Continuously seek to enhance efficiencies and customer satisfaction
  
  

What You'll Bring

• Tertiary qualifications in Business, Commerce, Economics, or related field
• 3+ years in a commercial or analytical role, ideally within payments or finance
• Strong data analysis and Excel skills; PowerBI experience highly regarded
• A strategic mindset with experience in process improvement (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma)
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
• Strong business acumen and the ability to work independently and under pressure
