Your New Role

As the Business and Performance Improvement Officer Clinical Nurse Consultant in Emergency, you will play a critical leadership role in driving clinical excellence and operational performance within the Emergency Department. Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing advanced clinical expertise and leadership focused on Emergency Department models of care and operational processes.
  • Analyzing ED performance, activity, and quality metrics to support continuous service improvement and meet Key Performance Indicators.
  • Overseeing the Data Optimisation team to ensure accuracy in ED data reporting, diagnosis coding, and Activity Based Funding (ABF) optimisation using tools like ieMR (FirstNet).

About you:

We Are Seeking a Motivated And Experienced Clinical Leader With a Strong Background In Emergency Department Operations And Data Management. The Ideal Candidate Will Possess
  • Comprehensive knowledge of Emergency Department clinical models, operational workflows, and performance measurement.
  • Proficiency with ieMR (FirstNet), relevant databases, and reporting tools for data extraction, analysis, and funding optimisation.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead teams and drive data quality improvements aligned with clinical and financial objectives.
