Overview

Our client is an Australian-based dairy company that is distributing and growing sizably internationally. Based in Regional Victoria. Part-time opportunity (working Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday), 8am–4pm. 12 months casual contract with potential to extend.


Responsibilities
  • Sampling, preparation, testing and analysis of chemical, microbial samples and raw materials
  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders via verbal and written means to communicate accurate test results
  • Maintain, operate, calibrate and troubleshoot the laboratory equipment correctly as required
  • Housekeeping of the laboratory environment

To be successful you will possess the following
  • Tertiary education in Food Science, Microbiology, Biochemistry, Chemistry or Laboratory Techniques would be ideal
  • Previous laboratory experience
  • Excellent computer and report writing skills
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, presentation, and time management skills
  • Must possess initiative and enthusiasm
