Job DescriptionWe are Mansys Pty Ltd, recruitment consultants. Our client, Prolim Technologies, based in Moorabbin (VIC), is actively seeking an ICT Support Technician (Customer Support) to join their team on a permanent full-time basis.
Prolim Technologies in Australia delivers end-to-end Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) and engineering solutions, including CAD/CAM/CAE tools such as SolidEdge, NX, Teamcenter, Simcenter, and IoT platforms. As a Siemens Expert Partner, they offer consulting, implementation, training, customization, and support to enhance innovation, efficiency, and profitability for businesses across Australia and New Zealand.
The successful candidate will provide essential support, education, and guidance in deploying and maintaining clients' computer infrastructure. Responsibilities include diagnosing and resolving technical problems, contributing to clients' engineering and product development success.
Main Responsibilities- Respond to inquiries and provide technical assistance and troubleshooting for PLM, CAM, and CAD software and hardware issues.
- Support clients with Siemens PLM solutions, ensuring timely resolution of user issues with minimal business disruption.
- Determine software and hardware requirements to offer effective solutions.
- Diagnose, identify, and resolve system problems and user-reported issues related to software functionality, data access, and workflows.
- Install, download, and configure PLM system infrastructure, including applications like Teamcenter and its integrations.
- Develop and conduct user training sessions and create technical documentation such as procedural guides.
- Collaborate with users and senior engineers to resolve complex technical issues, ensuring adherence to best practices.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Demonstrated experience in PLM software support, specifically with Siemens Teamcenter.
- Expertise in PLM implementation and support, especially with Siemens Teamcenter (Rich Client, Active Workspace, BMIDE).
- Proficiency in CAD software, including Solid Edge, NX, and Rhino.
- In-depth knowledge of PLM modules such as Requirement Management, Change Management, BOM Management, and MCAD Integration.
- Technical skills in TCL, VB.NET, HTML.
Successful candidates will earn an annual salary of AUD 80, ,000 plus bonus and superannuation.
