Overview

Investor Relations Manager – Energy Sector (Melbourne or Sydney)

Our client is a globally focused energy company headquartered in Melbourne with oil production and exploration assets in Brazil and the US. This role reports to the Senior Vice President, Investor Relations & Communications and offers a visible, influential position within the capital markets team.

Responsibilities
  • Transform complex strategy, operational, and financial data into simple, compelling investment messages for the market and internal stakeholders.
  • Develop clear, consistent, and credible investor materials (results, presentations, press releases, and market commentary).
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with analysts, investors, media, and internal senior stakeholders.
  • Support the company's positioning as a trusted and responsible operator in global energy markets.
Candidate Profile
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in investor relations, investment banking, equity research, funds management, or corporate communications.
  • Strong financial acumen and understanding of listed markets.
  • Experience in the energy or resources sector preferred.
  • Proven ability to craft and deliver clear narratives that engage diverse stakeholders.
  • Highly collaborative, commercially minded, and eager to contribute in a dynamic listed company environment.
