About Our Client

Our client is an established manufacturer in the Western suburbs of Melbourne, with an annual turnover of over $250 million.

Job Description

  • Lead the clean-up and reconciliation of the balance sheet, resolving discrepancies
  • Collaborate with IT and operations to ensure ERP modules are correctly configured
  • Develop dashboards and reporting tools to enhance visibility across finance and operations
  • Prepare monthly management reports including P&L, variance analysis, and commentary
  • Conduct detailed inventory analysis, including valuation, movements, and cost allocation
  • Partner with operations and supply chain to understand cost drivers and improve margins
  • Support budgeting and forecasting processes across multiple business units
  • Perform product costing and profitability analysis
  • Assist with capital expenditure tracking and ROI analysis for new investments

The Successful Applicant

  • Available immediately or on short notice
  • CA / CPA qualified
  • Degree in Accounting / Finance or similar
  • Experience with inventory / product-based environment
  • ERP migration / troubleshooting experience highly regarded
  • Ability to influence stakeholders and partner with operations
  • Strong analytical skills, particularly in inventory and profitability analysis
  • Excellent communication skills and experience presenting to SLT
