You – Conceptual Visionary with a Sharp Design Eye

You're a creative powerhouse with both strong concepting skills and a passion for visual craft. You know how to bring ideas to life with impact, always pushing for that extra layer of meaning and artistry. As our Senior Art Director, you'll be pivotal in creating memorable, effective work that reflects the bold and innovative spirit of AFFINITY.

The Role – Create, Inspire, Execute

As Senior Art Director, you'll lead the development of fresh, effective concepts that align with client objectives and our commitment to excellence. Collaborating closely with Strategy and Delivery, and working with our Media, Technology, and Digital teams, you'll help bring integrated creative solutions to life that are as strategically sound as they are visually compelling.

Key Responsibilities:

Concept Development

  • Generate impactful, big ideas that captivate audiences and align with strategic brand objectives.
  • Develop engaging concepts for multi-channel campaigns across digital, social, print, and experiential, balancing creativity with clarity.
  • Continuously push creative boundaries, ensuring high standards in every project.

Design Execution

  • Lead the end-to-end design process, ensuring visuals align with AFFINITY's creative vision and quality standards across all channels.
  • Collaborate with Delivery to keep projects on schedule and budget, maintaining a balance of creativity and efficiency.

Client Engagement and Presentation

  • Present and communicate creative ideas with confidence, clearly conveying the strategic vision and design intent to clients.
  • Integrate client feedback effectively, refining work to deliver impactful visual solutions.

Innovation and Industry Awareness

  • Stay current with trends and techniques in media and design, bringing fresh, innovative ideas to the team.
  • Contribute to AFFINITY's creative evolution by incorporating insights and feedback from cross-departmental collaborations.

Brand and Culture Leadership

  • Be a champion of AFFINITY's values and collaborative culture, fostering a creative environment that values teamwork, knowledge-sharing, and professional growth.
  • Mentor junior team members, supporting their development and encouraging continuous learning within the creative team.

Could This Be You?

  • 6+ years of experience in art direction, ideally within an agency environment that emphasises strategic alignment and creative impact.
  • A portfolio that showcases campaign work blending strategic insights with compelling visuals.
  • Strong attention to detail and adept with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and other design tools.
  • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to present and inspire confidence in clients and internal teams alike.
  • A collaborative spirit and willingness to mentor junior creatives, thriving in a fast-paced, multi-project setting.
