Our state-of-the-art facilities include everything from Cycle Studios and Reformer Pilates to cafés, crèche, and saunas, creating a feel-good environment that motivates, challenges, and inspires.

The Role :

In this important role, you'll be the first face our members see when they enter the club. You will assist both potential and existing members with professional and heartfelt service, ensuring each person who walks through the door has a positive experience. The role involves greeting members, answering phones, making protein shakes, and selling retail products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet and serve customers at the front desk and café.
  • Answer calls, handle queries, listen to complaints, and direct members to the relevant manager if needed.
  • Use computer systems to look up member details, create access key tags, process purchases, and assist with class bookings.
  • Help parents book their kids into Kid's Cartel when needed.
  • Learn about our supplement and apparel ranges to assist with sales.
  • Maintain cleanliness of the reception and café areas, stock shelves, and display apparel properly.
  • Perform opening and closing duties efficiently.
  • Follow directions, prioritize tasks, and complete them promptly.
  • Perform other related duties as required.
What you'll need to succeed :
  • Previous customer service experience with excellent communication skills.
  • A positive, proactive attitude with a desire to learn and grow.
  • A passion for health and fitness and eagerness to work in the industry.
  • Reliability, professionalism, punctuality, and a well-presented appearance.
  • Strong work ethic, initiative, motivation, and adaptability.
  • Computer literacy and ability to learn new systems.
  • Ability to communicate policies and procedures clearly to customers and staff.
  • Current First Aid and CPR certificates or willingness to obtain them.
  • Flexibility to work hours that suit gym operations (shift schedules provided in advance).
  • Australian working rights.
