The role

As part of the Short Tails Claims team, you will be reporting into the Head of Short Tail Claims. As the Claims Team Leader - Landlord/Technical, you will lead a team of six highly experienced technical claims specialists to deliver best practice claims management and exceptional customer service. You will provide ongoing coaching, support, and development to enhance individual and team performance. You will oversee KPIs and workflow, ensuring efficient claims processing while collaborating with specialist functions to achieve high-quality outcomes. You will champion the Claims People Value Proposition, foster engagement, and uphold company values and culture, acting as a role model for excellence.

You will partner with Quality Assurance to address training needs across technical, systems, product, and soft skills, ensuring continuous learning and improvement. You will maintain compliance with all relevant regulations and policies, actively report and resolve issues, cultivate strong stakeholder relationships, provide feedback on supplier performance, and drive cross-functional collaboration to support business objectives.
