Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role located in Pakenham, VIC for a Pump Sales, Customer Support & After Market position. The role involves providing sales and customer support for standard pumps and after-market pump products. The day-to-day tasks include assisting customers with product inquiries, processing sales orders, coordinating with the engineering team and generating pump repair reports. The role will require ERP BOM generation and purchasing. The candidate will also be responsible for ensuring customer satisfaction, handling service requests, and maintaining detailed records of customer interactions.

Responsibilities
  • Provide sales and customer support for standard pumps and after-market pump products.
  • Assist customers with product inquiries and process sales orders.
  • Coordinate with the engineering team and generate pump repair reports.
  • Perform ERP BOM generation and purchasing.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction, handle service requests, and maintain detailed records of customer interactions.
Qualifications
  • Experience in sales and customer support, particularly in the pump and related industries
  • Strong technical understanding of submersible pump and motor units and turbine pumps
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Proficiency with CRM software and other customer management tools
  • Ability to work collaboratively with engineering and technical teams
  • Relevant technical or engineering qualifications are a plus
  • Experience in a related electrical field an advantage.
