About the Role

As the Marketing and Events Officer, you will play a key role in promoting the school's image through innovative marketing strategies and coordinating important events such as Awards Night, ANZAC Day, Graduation, Open Day, and Study Tours. You will manage school publications, maintain website content, and enhance the school's social media presence to engage the community. Working with internal and external stakeholders, you'll support marketing material development, contribute to strategic planning, and share positive stories that showcase the school's achievements. Your efforts will strengthen partnerships and elevate the school's reputation across all platforms.

Your Responsibilities

As the Marketing and Events Officer, your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Coordinating school events such as Awards Night, ANZAC Day, Graduation, Open Day, and Study Tours, including liaising with stakeholders to develop creative strategies for these events.
  • Managing the production of school publications and promotional materials, including the newsletter, and maintaining accurate website content.
  • Developing and maintaining a proactive online and social media presence to promote the school and communicate effectively with the community.
  • Building and maintaining professional relationships with staff and external partners to support marketing efforts and event success.
  • Assisting in creating promotional materials, marketing strategies, and developing innovative marketing systems and procedures.
  • Contributing to the development and review of the school marketing plan and budget in consultation with leadership and finance teams.
  • Sharing positive stories with media and the community to promote the school, with prior approval from leadership.
