We have two roles available, one for our Frozen Shell Line, and another for our Awema Line

Day shift position

6am-2.30pm Monday to Thursday

6am-12noon Friday

Main duties will include but not limited to:

  • Operation of state of the art chocolate moulding line, including enrobing, depositing, mixing fillings and tempering chocolate
  • Be responsible for end to end machine operations insuring quality control and GMP guidelines are met.
  • Organising packing staff on end of belt packing
  • Following set recipes and methods to create chocolates
  • Mixing/blending of ingredients to make fillings to be ready for depositing
  • Following a production schedule
  • Consistent heavy lifting up to 25kg
  • Clean down of machinery and line changeover
  • Paperwork and traceability
  • Stock ordering

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • A background in a manufacturing environment, ideally food & FMCG
  • Technical & mechanical minded
  • Take great pride in your work
  • Ability to keep your work area clean and tidy
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Quick learning attitude
  • Problem solving skills
  • Ability to work as part of a team
  • Strict attention to detail and quality standards with the ability to adhere to Food Safety policies and standards. We have the highest level BRC accreditation
  • Can do attitude
  • Punctual and reliable history
