Join our dynamic Community Services academic team and play a key role in teaching the next generation of first-class community service workers You will be essential in delivering engaging, high-quality education to our Bachelor of Community Services students, helping them build and refine the skills they need to excel in their careers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lecturing, teaching, assessing and marking Bachelor of Community Services students.
  • Maintain accurate records of student attendance, progress and assessments.
  • Teaching lecture and tutorial classes.
  • Engage in teaching evaluations, maintaining professional development and pursuing new teaching methodologies and strategies.
  • Provide timely, comprehensive marking and feedback to students on all unit learning outcomes.
  • Identify and monitor students who are at risk of failing and organise necessary student support efforts for the students.
  • Respond to student emails and queries at a timely manner.
  • Maintain high professional and ethical conduct, including high standards of self-management, resilience and collaborative behaviours.
Qualifications

About You

  • Post Graduate qualification in Social Work, Community Services, Psychology, Counselling, or related fields
  • Minimum 2 years of industry experience in the human welfare sector.
  • Strong understanding of theory and practice
  • Excellent presentation and leadership skills
