Overview

Orange City Council is seeking an Asset Technician to join our Water & Sewer (Mechanical/Electrical) Team.

Grade: 4   Weekly Hours: 35   Weekly Wage: $1,225.80 - $1,336.12 (excluding superannuation)

As a Technical Assistant you will: This position will support the Water & Sewer (Mechanical/Electrical) team in completing their duties in preventative maintenance, replacement and renewal of water and sewage mechanical and Electrical systems at Council's Water and Sewage Treatment Plant facilities including water and sewage pump stations, water storage reservoirs, bores and water supply dams.

Responsibilities
  • Support the Water & Sewer (Mechanical/Electrical) team in preventative maintenance, replacement and renewal of water and sewage mechanical and Electrical systems at Council's Water and Sewage Treatment Plant facilities including water and sewage pump stations, water storage reservoirs, bores and water supply dams.
Qualifications
  • Certificate III Water Operations (or ability to acquire)
  • General Induction Construction Card (White Card)
  • Current Class C Drivers Licence
  • Current First Aid Certificate
