Reporting to the National Sales Manager – Category Growth, you will play a key role in supporting the management of a portfolio of smaller builders and driving the conversion of sales opportunities in the Geelong region.

This is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience, develop your sales acumen, and contribute to the growth of our High Value Products in the single-family new construction, small multi-family, and renovation segments.

What you'll do

  • Participate in a comprehensive onboarding program to understand James Hardie's mission, vision, and go-to-market strategies
  • Learn and utilise sales tools to support builder conversion in your allocated area
  • Execute sales plans and meet targets focused on driving builder engagement and product adoption
  • Collaborate with internal teams and customers to identify scalable conversion opportunities
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with small builders through strategic call planning
  • Use your influencing skills to create value-driven solutions for customer stakeholders
  • Track lead generation and project progress using CRM tools like Salesforce

What you'll bring
  • A valid driver's license and willingness to travel
  • Knowledge of the construction industry is a plus
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business or a related sales field is preferred, but not essential
  • A team-oriented mindset with the ability to work cross-functionally
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and influencing abilities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong planning, prioritization, and time management skills
  • A proactive attitude and a passion for achieving business goals
