About the role
We are seeking an experienced Senior Planner/Scheduler with experience in planning, scheduling and project controls in delivery of project schedules, working in a shared service capacity supporting busy and in demand business units. This role will require someone who has honed experience with developing and maintaining project schedules and who can measure, assess and report on progress against the project baselines. This role is critical to the success of the company and its pipeline of upcoming projects. This role will be primarily based out of our Loganholme office, with some options for flexible working across our North Brisbane and Gold Coast office locations.
A bit more about the role
- Work closely with various stakeholders including Contract Administrator and Project Managers to develop detailed project schedules using Primavera P6 software and MS Project.
- Communicate with the Project Managers on schedule status, variances, and performance metrics.
- Provide insights and recommendations for schedule improvements and risk mitigation strategies.
- Perform delay analysis, assist with extension of time claims and compile monthly progress reports.
- Monitor and track baseline vs actual EVM of project schedules
- Contributing to the development and maintenance of CE Group planning procedures
- You will have 5 or more years of demonstrated experience in supporting complex multi-disciplinary projects, ideally in the Industrial Electrical sector.
- Proficiency of Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project
- Commitment to quality and continuous improvement
- Roles of increasing responsibility in a project environment focused on Project Scheduling
- Demonstrated experience with Project Controls processes, systems and tools
- Ability to engage with & communicate effectively across multiple business units and functional areas
- Exceptional productivity that demonstrates reliability in getting the job done accurately and on time
- Set up strong coordination and planning between functions (design, procurement, production and testing)
- Tertiary degree, preferably in one of the following disciplines - Engineering, Construction, Building, Project Management, or equivalent experience.
- Strong planning experience, proficient in planning software and toolkit (P6, MS project, Power BI).
- Experience across project phases of design, procurement, installation, testing & commissioning.
- Capability to work with different stakeholders, (engineers, procurement, production /testing staffs and external stakeholders)
