About the roleWe are seeking an experienced Quality Technician to work in our Global Product business unit. Reporting to the Head of Quality, this role will be responsible for maintenance and setup of life tests for a vast range of products as per test requirements provided by quality engineers.
Key responsibilities- Maintenance of Life test room equipment
- Programming the PLCs to execute the test cycles
- Manage ancillary equipment, fixture required for Life Testing tasks
- Manage life test room resources and space allocation
- Monitor and communicate life test progress to quality engineers
- Reporting life test result and issues to quality engineers
- Comply with OHS and Environment guidelines and maintain the life test room accordingly.
- Trade background with electrical and mechanical knowledge essential
- PLC programming experience (FESTO)
- Experience in using a variety of tools and able to build simple jigs and fixtures
- Ability to prioritize tasks
- Information compilation and Presentation Skills - MS Office
- Effective & accurate communication - with colleagues and suppliers
