Solutions Sales Specialist – Optimisation and Governance
This is a hybrid opportunity where you'll work 3 days in the Sydney office, 2 days a week from home.

You'll be at the forefront of helping businesses transform their cloud, data, AI, cybersecurity, and analytics to ensure they are future-ready.
As a Solutions Sales Specialist with Insight, you'll partner with sales and delivery teams to develop compelling solution strategies that align with customer objectives and trends. You'll lead customer delivery sessions and develop tailored recommendations. You'll also qualify opportunities within your practice to support bid/no-bid decisions, develop high-impact proposals, executive-ready presentations, and technical demonstrations. Additionally, you will contribute to sales enablement through creating reusable assets, frameworks, and programs, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to align technical and commercial messaging.

Leadership: The manager for this role is Natalie Rice, Practice Lead for Optimisation and Governance Solutions, based in Sydney.
As a Solutions Sales Specialist, you will:
- Maintain visibility during transition from pre-sales to delivery, ensuring smooth handovers and managing expectations.
- Support go-to-market planning, adoption campaigns, and strategic initiatives.
- Represent the practice in enterprise-wide initiatives, regional forums, and cross-practice collaborations.
- Contribute thought leadership through events, storytelling, and creating scalable IP.
- Advance your career through structured pathways, with opportunities for upskilling, promotions, and growth.
We're looking for a Solution Sales Specialist with:
- Experience in IT Asset Management (ITAM) and FinOps
- Experience with Microsoft Stack Licensing
- Proven solution consulting and advisory experience in relevant practice, technology stack, or consulting environment.
- Deep expertise in your practice's offerings and go-to-market strategies.
- Strong commercial acumen to influence pipeline and strategies.
- Excellent communication skills, including executive narratives, proposals, and presentations.
- Ability to build rapport with senior stakeholders and align technical and business perspectives.
- Experience developing enablement programs, tools, and sales frameworks.
- Collaborative mindset to work across functions for consistent messaging and customer experience.
