About the Role

We are seeking experienced Emergency Nurses to join our team and support hospitals and multipurpose services across Central and Regional Queensland. With AM rates up to $72/hr + penalties + super, on-site accommodation, and travel assistance available, this is your chance to combine career growth with adventure.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver safe, high-quality patient care in busy ED settings.
  • Perform triage, resuscitation, and acute patient management.
  • Work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams.
  • Support patients and families through clear, compassionate communication.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with hospital protocols.
  • Adapt quickly to diverse environments across rural, regional, and multipurpose facilities.
What We're Looking For
  • Minimum 4 years ED experience (including triage & resus).
  • ALS certification (PALS desirable).
  • Experience in rural/remote or multipurpose facilities highly regarded
  • Strong adaptability, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently.

Job Description

The Role: We are seeking experienced Registered Nurses with Emergency Department experience for locum positions in the Mackay region of Queensland.

You will be working in a busy, fast-paced Emergency Department at a 100-bed referral hospital. As an Emergency Nurse at Mackay Hospital, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality emergency care. You will be part of a supportive, multidisciplinary team dedicated to providing the best patient outcomes.

Essential Requirements
