Base pay range

A$37.00/hr - A$38.00/hr

The Position

We are currently seeking FEMALE Support Workers to assist an older male with paranoid psychosis. There are currently shifts available Wednesday and Friday 11am-3pm with opportunities for other work. You will be assisting with Community Access, Providing Companionship and building their capacity.

Responsibilities

• Domestic Assistance: Help with household tasks such as cleaning, laundry, meal preparation, and shopping.
• High-Level Personal Care: Assist with personal care, mobility, transfers, and use of specialized equipment.
• Respite Care: Provide relief to caregivers, allowing them time for rest or appointments.
• Social Support & Transportation: Facilitate social engagement and assist with community activities and appointments.
• Medication Monitoring: Prompt clients to take medication per their Care Plan.
• Compliance: Follow operational guidelines and reporting requirements.
• All other reasonable duties that may be included in a NDIS Support Woker Role.

Requirements

• Cert 3 or above in Disability/Aged Care/Individual Support.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in disability or aged care.
• Valid driver's license, vehicle insurance, and relevant checks (WWCC, NDIS screening, First Aid, CPR).
