Key Responsibilities
  • Provide evidence-based assessments and therapy to a paediatric caseload, delivering direct, family-based and community-based support to individuals with developmental delays and/or disabilities.
  • Conduct assessment and intervention sessions with a mixed caseload in terms of age and modality, working collaboratively in a multidisciplinary context to deliver quality, evidence-based outcomes.
  • Work closely with key stakeholders, providing information, education and support.
  • Ongoing evaluation, training and review to ensure the delivery of quality services to clients.
Skills and Experience
  • Tertiary qualifications in Speech Pathology and SPA Registration is a must.
  • A passion for working with individuals who have disabilities to help each client achieve their goals, participate in their community in meaningful ways.
  • Exceptional communication skills to work in a culturally diverse environment and collaborate in a multidisciplinary team.
  • Effective time management and attention to detail.
  • Passion for making a difference with therapy that is fun, engaging and meaningful for clients and families.
  • Experience in working with children and adolescents and confidence in working closely with their families is highly valued.
  • Compliance requirements – SPA Registration; Working with Children Check; National Police Check; NDIS Worker Screening; First Aid; Driver's License & Vehicle.
