About the role

Join our dynamic team at Crystel Care as a Speech Pathologist. In this full-time position based in Metro Adelaide you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality speech therapy services to our clients. As a Speech Pathologist, you will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and treating individuals with communication and swallowing disorders.

What you'll be doing

  1. Conducting comprehensive assessments to identify speech, language, voice, and swallowing difficulties
  2. Developing and implementing individualised treatment plans to address each patient's unique needs
  3. Providing one-on-one and group therapy sessions to help patients improve their communication and swallowing abilities
  4. Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care
  5. Maintaining detailed patient records and reporting on patient progress
  6. Continually updating your knowledge and skills to provide evidence-based, best-practice care

What we're looking for

  1. Postgraduate degree in Speech Pathology or equivalent qualification
  2. Registered or eligible for registration with the Speech Pathology Australia
  3. Minimum 1 year of experience as a Speech Pathologist in a healthcare setting
  4. Strong clinical skills in speech, language, voice, and swallowing assessment and treatment
  5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with patients and their families
  6. Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
  7. Commitment to continuing professional development and evidence-based practice
