Your Role

You will be committed to supporting our clients to live and age well in their own homes. While no two days are the same, some key responsibilities may include:

• Personal Care: showering, dressing, medication, continence care
• Domestic assistance: meal preparation, laundry, light household cleaning
• Social Support / Transportation: travelling to medical appointments, community access, providing companionship
• Assisting with aids: frames, wheelchairs, hoists, slide sheets, hearing aids, etc.
• Monitoring the overall wellbeing of clients, recognising and reporting changes appropriately

What We Need From You

• A passion for caring and supporting people to live their best lives
• Respectful and polite, maintaining professional boundaries while being friendly
• Current driver's licence and own insured vehicle – travel is part of the role
• Completed a Certificate III in Aged, Community, or Disability Support or willing to obtain
• Covid-19 Vaccinated
• Current NDIS Worker Screening / Yellow Card or willing to obtain
• Current Police Check and willing to obtain NDIS Worker Screening
• Current First Aid & CPR Certificates
• NDIS Worker Orientation Module Certificate of Completion

Lastly, you have the right attitude, taking each day as it comes; some clients can be challenging, but you handle it professionally. Delays in your day are manageable, and you reset before greeting the next client.
