About the job:

In this role, you will provide central Finance and Insurance support to both in-store and online sales teams, assisting with applications, financial approvals, settlements, and ensuring legal compliance. You'll liaise with customers on their application status and advocate for Inchcape Financial Services to maximise all finance opportunities for the business.

Key responsibilities:

  • Support instore and online sales teams with F&I processes, providing overflow assistance when managers are unavailable.
  • Serve as escalation point for complex lending applications and collaborate with credit analysts to meet approval requirements.
  • Review finance submissions pre-approval, manage declined applications by coordinating with alternative lenders.
  • Train and coach sales teams on lending procedures and product offerings.
  • Maintain accurate lending logs, assist with settlements, refunds, and ensure contracts are complete and compliant.
  • Ensure adherence to legal, retail, and workplace health and safety policies, proactively managing risks and reporting hazards.

About you:

  • Previous financial services experience, ability to work under pressure in fast-paced environments.
  • Relevant financier accreditation is essential; additional qualifications are a plus.
  • Strong skills in maximising finance opportunities, excellent written/verbal communication, and proficiency with MS Office and digital platforms.
  • Customer-focused, highly organised, accountable, adaptable, with problem-solving ability, teamwork, leadership potential, and a commitment to continuous improvement.
