Role overview: As a Support Services Worker, you will deliver a range of hospitality services within our Aged Care home, including catering, cleaning, and laundry. Your role is key in building meaningful connections with residents, their families, and care staff—supporting resident choice, enhancing comfort, and fostering a genuine sense of home. Guided by our values, you will contribute to enriching the quality of life for those in our care.
Responsibilities- Prepare and present dietary services, including meals and beverages
- Assist the chef with food preparation, cleaning, and general kitchen duties
- Serve and distribute meals to residents and provide dining room service
- Maintain cleanliness throughout resident rooms and shared facility areas
- Complete required documentation and reporting accurately and on time
- Ensure handwashing supplies are stocked and replenished as needed
- Provide laundry services, including checking, labelling, and returning items
- Competitive Compensation: base rate of $27.42 to $29.61 per hour, Penalties 12% Super, and Leave Loading

Our 63-room aged care home offers a warm, professional, and well-maintained environment for both residents and staff. Resthaven is thoughtfully designed to support quality care delivery. The home features bay windows, garden views, modern amenities including individually controlled air-conditioning, spacious communal lounge and dining areas, supporting a collaborative and comfortable workplace.
To Be Successful You Will Need- NDIS Worker Clearance – MANDATORY
- Valid working rights in Australia – MANDATORY
- Hospitality or Customer Service experience in a fast-paced environment
- A passion for delivering a person-centred approach to care
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- An understanding of the Aged Care Quality Standards
- Compassionate and empathetic nature
