Seeking instrumental music teachers for private and small group lessons in primary schools.

Primary Music Institute (" PMI ") is a leader in the field of extra-curricular education programs for primary school children. PMI was founded in 1995 and has taught over 50,000 students. PMI is passionate about providing opportunities for all students to experience the gift and benefits of music.

Our teachers are provided with equipment, training, administrative support and ongoing professional development.

Selection Criteria :

We are now seeking teachers who are available to start teaching in term 3, 2025 with roles available in these areas :

Outer Western suburbs (Including Sunbury and surrounding areas )

Outer Eastern suburbs ( Gembrook and Dandenong ranges area)

Outer South Easter suburbs (Frankston and surrounding area)

Eastern suburbs (Including Caulfield, Doncaster, Ashburton and surrounding areas)

To become a teacher with Primary Music Institute you will need :

Passion for sharing the gift of music with children.

Bachelor degree (or higher qualification) or at least five years of relevant instrumental tutoring experience.

Ideal candidates will have ability to teach small group and individual keyboard and guitar lessons, or a combination of drums / guitar / vocal and keyboard lessons.

Long-term and exclusive commitment to this role.

Flexibility to adjust to changing schedule on short-notice.

Demonstrated reliability and commitment to service excellence

The ability to relate well to children, parents and school staff.

A current valid Victorian Working With Children Check and a commitment to complying with PMI's child safety policy
