Kuyper Christian School, situated in the Hawkesbury area, is seeking applications from committed Christians who are qualified and experienced in customer service and administration.

The successful applicant will be an active member of their church and be able to subscribe wholeheartedly to the school's Statement of Faith.

Our reception desk is the first point of contact for students, families and visitors to the school. It is also a hub for staff and parents. For this reason, we invite applications from organised and caring individuals who enjoy meeting the needs of a diverse range of people through a number of different channels. Interactions will be via telephone, email and face-to-face in an often hectic environment. Your role will focus on these immediate interactions, including basic health care and First Aid. Another key component of this role is the management of First Aid systems, including keeping accurate and up to date student medical records and assisting staff in preparing First Aid and medications for camps and excursions.

This role will report to and be supported by the Office Manager. Hours will generally be from 8:30am – 4pm, 5 days per week, 40 weeks per year, during school terms commencing January 2026.

Hourly rates range from $32.38 to $35.28 (averaged) depending on experience.

Essential skills and personal qualities include:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and familiar with Google Docs
  • Confident in engaging with new computer systems and software
  • High levels of discretion in handling confidential information
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Empathy and confidence in interacting with parents, teenagers and young children
  • Ability to collaborate with other Admin staff
  • Flexibility, and the ability to calmly prioritise in a hectic environment
  • Commitment to a support role that can be both demanding and mundane

Desirable skills include:

  • Prior experience in a school or medical administration role
  • Knowledge of Edumate (school system database)
