Join our Downer Professional Services team and play a key role in delivering complex defence and national security projects that safeguard Australia's future.

Downer Professional Services is comprised of two business units, our Technical, Advisory, and Capability consulting practice and Team Downer, a major service partner to Defence. Together, we are a multi-disciplinary advisory and delivery partner of choice for our clients in Defence and National Security.

The IWP Delivery Manager JC4S will support IWP Program Manager in sourcing suitable candidates for Commonwealth requirements and ensuring smooth delivery of capability through strong stakeholder relationships and operational coordination.

What You'll Do

This role offers a broad scope, with key responsibilities including:

  • Support the IWP Delivery Manager in executing contract and workforce management duties.
  • Respond promptly to Commonwealth requests and coordinate requirement-setting workshops.
  • Monitor workforce performance and delivery progress, identifying risks to scope, schedule, and quality.
  • Manage onboarding/offboarding, contract fulfilment, and integration of staff into client environments.
  • Review CVs, coordinate interviews, and manage end-to-end candidate onboarding processes.

What You'll Bring

  • Excellent time management and attention to detail across multiple concurrent tasks.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with a client-focused approach.
  • Ability to work independently once familiar with the role and processes.
  • Familiarity with Defence/CASG environments and contract compliance (beneficial but not essential).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint for reporting and documentation.
  • Currently hold and maintain a minimum Negative Vetting 1 or higher Security clearance as required by the Commonwealth.
  • In some instances, compliance with International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) requirements may be an inherent requirement.
