Ipswich Eagles Senior Men's Coach

The Ipswich Eagles AFL Football Club is seeking passionate coaches for our Senior Men's and Women's teams, as well as our U17 boys, U15 Girls, and U8 Mixed teams. Our Senior teams are currently in finals, and we need dedicated individuals to lead these teams and our juniors.

Position Overview:
  1. Develop training sessions and game strategies
  2. Mentor and guide players
  3. Recruit and manage team logistics
  4. Foster a positive team culture
Essential Qualifications:
  1. Senior coaching experience or relevant playing background
  2. Strong AFL game strategy knowledge
  3. Excellent communication skills
  4. Current First Aid and CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
  5. Valid Blue Card (or ability to obtain)
Desirable:
  1. AFL coaching accreditation (Level 1 or higher)
  2. Experience in sports management

Teams:
  • Men's Division 4: Friday nights
  • Men's Division 3: Potential expansion to a second team (Expression of Interest only at this stage)
  • Women's Division 2: Saturday afternoons
  • U15 Girls: Sunday mornings
  • U8 Mixed: Saturday mornings
