We are seeking a Human Resources Business Partner to join our team in Melbourne, Sydney, or Brisbane.

Role Overview: Reporting to the Human Resources Associate Director, you will lead HR practices to foster an employee-orientated, high-performance culture. Your responsibilities will include implementing services, policies and programs, supporting executive management, and advising company managers on HR practices and issues.

Key responsibilities for this role include:

  • HR Solutions
    • Coordinating, developing, and implementing HR solutions for workforce challenges.
    • Shaping strategic and operational advice using your HR knowledge.
  • Stakeholder Relationships
    • Developing and sustaining relationships across the business.
    • Supporting business units with succession and workforce planning, and effective resource utilisation.
  • Employee Life Cycle
    • Leading best practices across the employee life cycle.
    • Developing and documenting policies.
  • Retention & Recognition
    • Driving retention strategies through HR partnerships.
    • Implementing and supporting reward and recognition strategies.
  • Ensuring effective communication at all levels.
  • Guiding managers in resolving performance and employee relations matters.
Qualifications

We are seeking a proactive, adaptable, service-focused HR professional. Ideal candidates will:

  • Hold a tertiary qualification in Human Resources.
  • Have 2-3 years of experience in a Business Partner position. If you've climbed the ranks through Advisor to Business Partner, that's also valued.
  • Possess experience in a consultancy, engineering, or legal firm environment.
  • Hold the right to work in Australia.

In terms of your interpersonal skills, we're looking for:

  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and a strategic approach.
  • Commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
  • High organisation skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
