Role

We are currently looking for a Sales Representative to join our sales team servicing our clients within the Adelaide and surrounding area. There also may be some regional travel fortnightly. Reporting to the Territory Manager, this role involves the coordination of retail distribution support activities for both internal and external stakeholders of AMES Australasia.

Key Responsibilities
  • Effectively execute business initiatives and merchandising expectations.
  • Grow customer support ability by establishing quality relationships at all levels of business structure.
  • Develop, coordinate and conduct AMES Australasia's brand support activities including promotional events and peak customer trading period support.
  • Identify customer training opportunities and conduct applicable sanctioned modular training.
Skills and Attributes

The Ideal Candidate will possess the following:

  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Must have valid driver\'s licence
  • Strong relationship management skills
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to work closely with the sales team
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
  • Physically fit (some manual lifting is required)

  • Previous experience working in the hardware/garden industry is highly desirable
