The Role

Our Support Services staff are integral to the wellbeing of our residents, delivering high-quality services across Catering, Cleaning, & Laundry. More than just practical support, you will foster meaningful relationships that enhance each resident's daily life. Reporting to the Support Services Team Leader, the team plays a vital role in maintaining a safe, comfortable, and homelike environment.

Duties Include

• Maintaining legislated safety, quality, and hygiene standards
• Cleaning resident rooms, bathrooms, and living areas
• Cleaning communal and dining areas
• Cleaning and sorting laundry
• Assisting with basic kitchen duties such as dishwashing, food preparation support, and maintaining cleanliness in food service areas
• Maintaining adequate supplies of toilet paper, soap, and other cleaning and hygiene supplies for resident use
• Adhering to infection control principles and WHS requirements, including the safe storage and use of chemicals, and completing cleaning requirements according to facility schedules
• Completing required documentation and reporting
• Providing ad hoc support to the broader team as required

What you will bring:

• Previous experience in a similar role
• Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
• Experience in Aged Care highly desirable but not essential
• Currently hold and maintain a NDIS Check (or willing to obtain)
• An understanding of Resident Rights, Aged Care Accreditation Standards, and Outcomes is highly regarded but not essential
