RGM MAINTENANCE has been providing maintenance and repair solutions across Australia's transport industry since 2002. We are a trusted service provider for major fleet operators, including Defence and fuel transport, and are continuing to grow.

We're looking for motivated people to join our Katherine team – whether you're a qualified Light or Heavy Vehicle Mechanic or a mechanically minded Trade Assistant keen to learn. This role offers the chance to work on a wide range of vehicles, including Defence refuelling fleets based at RAAF Tindal as well as in our fully equipped Katherine workshop.

The Role

Carry out servicing, maintenance, and repairs on a variety of vehicles and equipment

Assist with major repairs and fleet servicing under supervision (if Trade Assistant)

Support Defence fleet operations both on-site at Tindal and in the workshop

Work efficiently and safely, maintaining high standards of quality and service

What We're Looking For

Qualified Light or Heavy Vehicle Mechanic – or a 3rd/4th year apprentice with strong experience

OR Mechanically minded Trade Assistant with a genuine interest in vehicles and willingness to learn

A positive, can-do attitude and strong work ethic

Ability to follow instructions, problem-solve and work as part of a team

Current driver's licence (HR licence an advantage)

For the right candidate, there may be an opportunity to undertake trade training and gain a qualification.
