Are you a skilled Mechanic or Tyre fitter looking to work with a community-focused organisation? N.E.A.L is expanding its workshop team and we're looking for a dedicated Workshop Mechanic / Tyre Fitter to help keep our fleet running strong. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone who takes pride in tyre services and general mechanical maintenance.
Responsibilities:
- Remove, fit, balance and repair tyres on various vehicle types
- Conduct tyre inspections and rotations as part of regular servicing
- Monitor and manage tyre inventory and conditions report
- Assist with mechanical diagnostics and repairs when required
- Completing scheduled servicing and preventative maintenance
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organised work environment
- Follow safety protocols and use appropriate PPE at all times
- Work independently or as part of a team under supervisor guidance
What we're looking for
- Relevant trade qualification as a mechanic or equivalent
- Hands-on experience in vehicle maintenance and repairs
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting ability
- Good time management and communication skills
- Safety-conscious and team-oriented
