Are you a skilled Mechanic or Tyre fitter looking to work with a community-focused organisation? N.E.A.L is expanding its workshop team and we're looking for a dedicated Workshop Mechanic / Tyre Fitter to help keep our fleet running strong. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone who takes pride in tyre services and general mechanical maintenance.

Responsibilities:

  • Remove, fit, balance and repair tyres on various vehicle types
  • Conduct tyre inspections and rotations as part of regular servicing
  • Monitor and manage tyre inventory and conditions report
  • Assist with mechanical diagnostics and repairs when required
  • Completing scheduled servicing and preventative maintenance
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organised work environment
  • Follow safety protocols and use appropriate PPE at all times
  • Work independently or as part of a team under supervisor guidance

What we're looking for

  • Relevant trade qualification as a mechanic or equivalent
  • Hands-on experience in vehicle maintenance and repairs
  • Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting ability
  • Good time management and communication skills
  • Safety-conscious and team-oriented
