Overview

Senior Solution Architect (Infrastructure) – Sydney, Australia. Partnering with a leading financial services institution to design and deliver large-scale technology solutions in a regulated environment. Hybrid working arrangement available with competitive salary and benefits.

Base pay range

A$170,000.00/yr - A$187,500.00/yr

Responsibilities
  • Lead the design and delivery of infrastructure solutions across a complex, enterprise-scale environment.
  • Provide architectural leadership, ensuring alignment with business and technology strategy.
  • Work closely with senior stakeholders, technology teams, and external partners.
  • Ensure solutions meet regulatory, security, and compliance requirements.
  • Contribute to architecture governance, frameworks, and standards.
About you
  • Strong background in on-premises infrastructure (compute, storage, networking, data centres).
  • Proven experience in solution or enterprise architecture within large, complex environments.
  • Solid understanding of security, compliance, and risk frameworks – exposure to ISO or COBIT is highly desirable.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence at senior levels.
  • Financial services or other highly regulated industry experience is a plus.
