We are seeking a talented individual to join our Corporate & Commercial team at Marsh in Tasmania. This role will be based in the Hobart office. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.

As Senior Account Executive you will implement Client First Principles across your portfolio of accounts within our Corporate practice, ensuring high quality customer service is always provided. In addition to the end-to-end management for a portfolio of clients, you will work as a team with other brokers across Tasmania and support junior colleagues where needed.

We will count on you to:

  • Consistently achieve agreed service standards.
  • Foster effective long-term relationships with key client decision makers and monitor changes to preserve these relationships.
  • Take a proactive approach to account management and service delivery, ensuring client needs are identified and met.
  • Implement successful account retention and defence strategies.
  • Maintain awareness of large and complicated claim-related matters, assisting claims colleagues in negotiating equitable settlements.
  • Possess a thorough understanding of major classes of General insurance and stay updated on technical and product developments.
  • Have a comprehensive knowledge of relevant legislation, including the Insurance (Agents & Brokers) Act and Insurance Contracts Act.

What you need to have:
  • Proven insurance experience managing corporate client accounts.
  • Tier 1 FSRA qualification.
  • Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • A motivation for client service and solutions.
