The Role:

Cater Care is seeking a casual Catering Assistant to work at one of our key education sites in North Adelaide. In this role, you will work as part of a team to ensure that our students, staff, and guests can enjoy their meals in a friendly and vibrant atmosphere, with excellent food service and quality.

Roster: Various days and hours

Job Description

What This Role Involves:
  • Assisting with food preparation (e.g. peeling/chopping vegetables, making sandwiches and salads)
  • Providing friendly customer service
  • Plating and serving meals to a diverse range of customers
  • Washing dishes and keeping kitchen and dining areas clean and tidy
  • Assisting with preparation and service of functions and conferences

Desired Skills And Experience

The ideal candidate will have:
  • Previous experience assisting in all aspects of kitchen operations and service
  • Ability to organise work with other team members and take direction
  • Reliability and availability for various days and hours
  • Ability to comply with OH&S and food safety practices
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment during peak service periods
