As a Resource Planner at Certis, you will play a vital role in coordinating the forward planning of rosters and operational deployments within our National Operations Centre (NOC). Your efforts will support a network of Security Officers and Customers, ensuring seamless operations and exceptional service delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Workforce Planning: Open and publish national rosters 2–4 weeks in advance, proactively identifying and addressing resource shortfalls.
  • Roster Management: Maintain and update permanent rosters in the system, including changes to deployments, account/service terminations, annual leave coverage, and ad-hoc requests.
  • Operational Support: Allocate resources nationally, ensuring compliance with legislative and internal policies, including fatigue management.
  • Customer & Contractor Liaison: Collaborate with clients and resource contractors to ensure security requirements are met and expectations exceeded.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders including State Operations Managers, Client Service Managers, Payroll, and Billing teams.
  • Data Accuracy: Ensure timely and accurate data entry of all confirmed contractor rosters and resource changes.
  • Efficiency & Reporting: Analyse deployments to identify efficiencies and participate in weekly planning handovers to the Deployment Team.
  • Service Excellence: Deliver high-quality customer service to both internal and external stakeholders, ensuring seamless and professional operations.

Qualification

  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in an operation/rostering environment
  • Certificate in Business Administration
  • Advanced MS Excel Qualifications
  • Understanding of basic Analytics

Experience

  • Recording information and report writing
  • Working in a team environment
  • Previous experience within a manpower provider would be advantageous
  • General administration functions

Knowledge

  • Knowledge of the Security Industry (desirable)
  • Knowledge of the Security Services Industry Award 2010
  • Intermediate to advanced skills using MS Word and MS Excel
  • Exposure to rostering packages (essential)
  • Superior communication skills, written, verbal, and reporting.
  • Knowledge in the operation of a computer-based roster system
  • Beginner Data analysis and Statistics knowledge: Measures of Central Tendency
