The Setup

A newly awarded long-term contract in the heart of South Australian mining, the site is a well-recognised mining hub with further inclusions planned for the future.

The Roster

Choose your ideal even-time roster (week on / week off or 2 / 2) - start on days / finish on nights). The travel would consist of the following:

  • Fly interstate from point of hire in the morning and arrive at the site mid-morning - 12-hour shifts
  • Leave the site in the morning for R&R and interstate in the mid-morning / early afternoon

The Role

Your position as an Auto Electrician will see you working in the above-ground workshop and assisting in field service with breakdowns as required, machinery consisting of drills, boggers, trucks, ITs, light vehicles, and more.

  • Undertaking scheduled and preventative maintenance, repairs, and fitting parts
  • Attending breakdowns, fault finding and diagnostic work, and providing technical support
  • Working within safety guidelines, policies, and procedures

Your Value

The ideal candidate will come from a heavy, civil, road transport, or agricultural background - underground or mining experience is highly regarded.

  • Auto Electrical qualification
  • Able to adapt to various conditions & environments across the workshop / field
  • Hold a valid Australian Drivers Licence + able to obtain a National Police Check within 6-8 months
  • Excellent culture and safety record
  • Working independently and within a team environment
