Overview

A consultancy client requires an immediate start Senior Databricks Engineer for one of their projects for an initial 3 months with likely extension. There is also the possibility of conversion to permanent if that appeals to you. The role can be onsite, hybrid or remote.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ideally lead and deliver data engineering projects from discovery through deployment.
  • Design and implement cloud-native data pipelines using Azure and Databricks.
  • Provide strategic input on data architecture, migration strategies, and governance.
  • Ideally act as a technical lead, mentoring junior engineers and guiding project teams.
  • Engage directly with clients to understand business goals and align technical solutions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate data solutions into broader business initiatives and strategies.
  • Collaborate closely with stakeholders, providing clear updates on progress, risks, and scope changes.
About You
  • Minimum of 7 years of consulting experience in data and analytics project delivery.
  • Proven expertise in the Microsoft Data Platform (Azure Data Factory, Synapse, SQL, Power BI).
Base pay range

A$90.00/hr - A$110.00/hr
