Overview

We are currently seeking a Laboratory Technician to join our team located at Pinkenba. This opportunity will see you working alongside and gaining valuable experience from a highly experienced team of professionals.

Responsibilities
  • Perform sampling/testing of cement and cement related products to recognised and approved methods
  • Ensure equipment is maintained in working order and condition
  • Check calculations on worksheets
  • Compile and dispatch records
  • Maintain accurate data of records for samples and test results
  • Ensure compliance with project guidelines sampling products and testing/calibrations
  • Develop opportunities for improvement and non-conformance reporting requirements
Qualifications
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Suite
  • Strong communication skills communicating with management, customers and team members
  • Strong commitment to safety and quality
  • Experience and knowledge in construction materials testing and sampling
  • Ability to work autonomously and within a team environment
  • Ability to prioritise work and work under pressure
  • Cert III or IV in Laboratory Techniques (desirable)
