Clinical Applications Manager, Queensland Health

What you'll do
- Develop and maintain the framework for clinical application improvement, ensuring it provides an effective mechanism to assess, prioritize, implement, and measure improvement initiatives across Queensland Health.
- Lead the development, prioritization, and implementation of a continuous improvement program using Agile methodologies, focusing on delivering clinically focused, efficient, and customer-centric applications across Queensland Health.
- Lead the Clinical Applications team to review, audit, and ensure compliance with quality standards, engaging with the business to resolve issues and ensure policies, processes, and procedures support safe, quality, and efficient healthcare through seamless digital solutions.
- Evaluate and optimize workflows for SmartReferrals and SurgeryConnect to ensure they are streamlined, effective, and meet quality standards while reducing customer effort.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement within eHealth by ensuring IT Service Management processes align with best practices (e.g., ITSM, ITIL, ISO standards) to provide consistent end-to-end services.
About you
- Proven ability to design, implement, and promote continuous improvement practices within a large, complex service delivery organization using Agile methodologies.
- Expert knowledge of SmartReferrals and SurgeryConnect workflows.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, negotiation, consultation, and collaboration skills, with the ability to liaise effectively at all levels within and outside eHealth Queensland.
- Strong organizational skills, capable of managing priorities and adapting to changing needs in a busy environment.
- High-level written and oral communication skills, with experience in preparing complex reports, briefs, and submissions.
