Supported by brand HQ locations in Chicago - USA, Annecy - France and Vancouver - Canada, our local ANZ team are a driven and vibrant group of motivated professionals who are constantly striving to deliver exceptional consumer experiences from their new facility based in Moorabbin, Melbourne. Due to phenomenal growth across our business, we are looking to add a new role of Merchandise Co-Ordinator to support our Salomon team.
The Role:
Reporting directly to the Commercial Manager (Salomon SoftGoods), the role supports the execution of local ANZ Go to Market process along with supporting the relevant product strategies that deliver premium consumer experiences across all channels. Through meticulous planning, data accuracy, and strong cross-functional collaboration, the Merchandise Co-Ordinator supports commercial success to drive Salomon's position as the worlds most authentic, premium & innovative brand for the mountain sport lifestyle. Day to day activities include;
- Coordinate with global and regional teams & systems to ensure timely and accurate product information, pricing, and order placement.
- Provide administrative and operational support to ensure efficient delivery of the merchandising function.
- Support the Merchandising Team in range selection, segmentation, and line architecture planning
- Coordinate order placement processes to meet deadlines and delivery timelines
- Enter and maintain accurate product, pricing, and order data in internal merchandising systems, ensuring data integrity across product catalogues, order forms, and reporting tools.
- Support the GTM process through preparation of seasonal range presentations, reporting, and sales tools for internal and external stakeholders.
- Collaborate cross-functionally assist in preparing and distributing seasonal go-to-market materials including range overviews, product content & sales tools
A range of skills are necessary including:
- Minimum 1-2 years experience in merchandise planning/buying or category management within a branded, direct-to-Consumer channel
- Knowledge and experience with merchandising systems, processes and best practices.
- Strong communication and relationship building skills.
- Outstanding analytical and excel capabilities along with PowerPoint experience
- Great team player and ability to work with cross functional partners in all aspects of the business
