Responsibilities

Under the direction of the Facilities Shift Supervisor, the incumbent adjusts, repairs, troubleshoots, and maintains electrical applications on and off-site. Duties include, but are not limited to:

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Perform all preventive maintenance on systems and maintain applicable log books.
  • Conduct walk-through inspections; replace light bulbs, ballasts, sockets, switches, GFI receptacles, and dimmers.
  • Apply basic electrical code as it applies to commercial facilities.
  • Record gauge/meter readings, repairs completed, and time lost due to inoperative equipment.
  • Maintain technical logs and records as appropriate.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent and trade school certificate preferred, and a minimum of three (3) years of experience required or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience. Valid driver's license required.

  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
  • The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.
  • The casino environment is hectic, fast-paced, and often crowded and noisy. May be exposed to casino-related environmental factors including, but not limited to, second-hand smoke and excessive noise.
  • Must be able to communicate effectively with guests in English, specific to position duties and responsibilities.
