Under the direction of the Facilities Shift Supervisor, the incumbent adjusts, repairs, troubleshoots and maintains electrical applications on and off-site. Duties include, but are not limited to:

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Performs all preventive maintenance on systems and maintains applicable log books.
• Conducts walk-through inspections; replacing light bulbs, ballasts, sockets, switches, GFI receptacles, and dimmers.
• Applies basic electrical code as it applies to commercial facilities.
• Records gauge/meter readings, repairs completed and time lost due to inoperative equipment.
• Maintains technical logs and records as appropriate.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

High school diploma or equivalent and trade school certificate preferred, and a minimum of three (3) years of experience required or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience. Valid driver's license required.

Work Environment:

• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; talk or hear; and taste or smell. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required include close, distance, color, and peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

• The Casino environment is hectic, fast-paced and often crowded and noisy. May be exposed to casino-related environmental factors including, but not limited to, second-hand smoke, excessive noise and constant exposure to the general public.
• Must be able to communicate effectively with guests in English, specific to position duties and responsibilities.
