This is a permanent full-time position commencing Term 4, 2025

Butler Primary School (PS) opened in 2003 and received Independent Public School status in 2012. The school is a Level 6 school and accommodates over 800 students from Kindergarten to Year 6. The school environment and facilities are well maintained to ensure they cater for the needs of our students through ample play areas and well-maintained grounds.

The Role

Join our team as a Gardener - Handyperson and contribute to fostering a positive learning environment As a key member, the successful applicant would be instrumental in maintaining the school grounds, ensuring they are safe, tidy, and conducive to a positive environment for both students and staff. From overseeing the turf areas, garden beds, and shrubs to managing hard landscaping features like courts and paving, you'll play a vital role in creating an inviting and inspiring outdoor space.

Your commitment to maintaining gardening facilities, equipment, and tools in a good condition will be integral to promoting a positive culture within the school. Co-ordinating with the Manager of Corporate Services to develop safe work procedures, undertake risk assessments, and ensure compliance with Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) legislation.
