Scrub Scout Nurse role at Ramsay Health Care — John Flynn Private Hospital on the Gold Coast.
Responsibilities- Provide high-quality perioperative nursing care within the operating department.
- Review, plan, and deliver patient care in collaboration with the Perioperative Services Manager and Shift Leaders.
- Work both independently and as part of a collaborative team to ensure excellent outcomes for our patients.
- Participate in and support an on-call roster system.
- Work across a variety of surgical specialties, with opportunities to gain exposure to high-volume orthopaedic robotic procedures, Da Vinci robotic cases, and many other specialties.
- A minimum of 3 years' scrub/scout experience, with the ability to work independently across some surgical specialties.
- Experience or interest in robotic surgical procedures (general, gynaecology, and orthopaedics with the Mako robot) – highly regarded.
- A commitment to teamwork, patient safety, and delivering outstanding care.

You will also bring:
- Relevant qualifications and Registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse.
- Minimum 1 year experience as a Scrub / Scout.
- Relevant post-graduate specialty qualifications will be highly regarded, though not essential.
